Family mediation, supporting you through the process

MIAM

A Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting is an opportunity for you to meet me. I will provide all the information you need about family mediation.  You can then tell me about what has happened up until this point and what you would like to achieve in mediation.  Importantly, I will also assess that mediation is suitable and crucially safe to go ahead.

FEE £120 per person inclusive of VAT

Mediation

Family mediation sessions are available online or in person. Mediation sessions can range from 1 to 2 hours and are often separated into topics throughout the mediation process,  Such as discussing child arrangements or finances.  Call our mediation service today for a free consultation.

Did you know mediation can happen in a variety of ways.  You can have a face to face session at my comfortable office.  You can have an online session. Or you can have shuttle mediation.  This is where you would not see or hear the other person, but you would both be able to speak to me.  I then facilitate the passing of information from one person to the other.

The cost of mediation is £140 per person per hour **

** If you are eligible for the government voucher scheme, this gives you 2 hours of FULLY FUNDED mediation with me.

I offer Blue Light Discount of 10% off MIAM and family mediation

Other Services

There are other useful documents that I can prepare for you on request.  *

If you are planning on asking the court to grant a consent order https://helpandadvice.co.uk/consent-order/

then I can draft an open financial statement and a memorandum of understanding containing all of the financial decisions you have made following full financial disclosure.  These documents can then be converted into a consent order, either yourself or via a solicitor.

Some people would like a document outlining the decisions they made about co-parenting arrangements.  On request I can put this into a parenting or co-parenting plan, which you can ask the family court to turn into a child arrangements order.
